*Due to outbreaks of the PERTUSSIS (Whooping Cough) virus and a reported increase of infant deaths in California, the Center for Disease Control, The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics are advising that all adults who will be frequently exposed to a newborn, be vaccinated with the Tdap (Tetanus/Pertussis/Diptheria) vaccine and booster. Please inquire about this vaccine after the delivery of your child for both parents.
*The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) are recommending HPV testing for all women over 30 in conjunction with their annual pap smears. If you would like to have this testing done, please check with your insurance company to verify that it's a covered benefit under your insurance policy.
