Instructions: Cytotec 200mcg

The purpose of taking Cytotec is to facilitate dilation of your cervix to allow instrumentation to pass easily through your cervical canal during your upcoming procedure (IUD insertions and endometrial biopsies, for example.)

Take both 200mcg tablets by mouth 6-8 hours prior to your procedure.

This medication may cause cramping, spotting, nausea and/or diarrhea.
